Cheltenham-based plumbing, heating and electrical specialists Shackleton, Wintle & Lane (SW&L), has been announced as a finalist in this year’s Gloucestershire Business Awards.
SW&L has been chosen by the judging panel as one of four local businesses to be shortlisted for the Marketing Campaign of the Year Award. The winner of the category will be announced alongside 13 others at a black-tie dinner held at the Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse on 11 October 2018.
John Rogers, Managing Director at SW&L, says: “We’re really proud to have been chosen as a finalist. Our business has seen a huge amount of change and progress over the past year and we’ve put a great deal of effort into our marketing, including rebranding the company after 40 successful years of trading. It’s fantastic that what we’ve achieved has been recognised, and we’re looking forward to celebrating alongside all the other businesses at the awards in October.”
Rachel Sugden, Senior Editor for Reach plc in Gloucestershire and a member of the judging panel, says: “The judging was incredibly challenging, as is always the case when there are so many brilliant entries. It is an honour to be one of the judges for these awards and we are very much looking forward to the big night.”
SW&L is a specialist in integrated plumbing, heating and electrical services for homeowners, letting agents, builders and developers. The business expanded and rebranded after the merger of Shackleton & Wintle and WJL Electrical at the end of last year, bringing together two of Gloucestershire’s leading technical experts. The new executive team comprises Shackleton & Wintle directors John Rogers, Malcolm Faulkner, Andy Richards, Mark Young and Wesley Lane of WJL.
